Is this going to make it to 1.8.4? |

I think it will be included in 1.8.4. It provides similar functionality to WordPress short codes. Only documentation we have for it is in the README file. We'll be adding some popular sites like youtube, vimeo, etc to the embed plugin. Overall, it provides a controlled vocabulary for embedding content into textareas - whether the content is from the site or from some other site on the Internet. It would allow you to embed a calendar event in a blog post for example. |

Includes integration of file plugin. Will add youtube and others later. Also need to handle the [code] appearing in the river.
