Clicking on "history" in a profile's message board causes an error

Description

If you click on the "history" link in a profile's message board the following error occurs:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getGUID() on a non-object in /home/doug/public_html/dietharbor.com/mod/messageboard/history.php on line 18

This was at my site ​http://dietharbor.com running v1.6.1.

An additional note - the history link itself only seems to appear when viewing the profiles as guest.

Sorry - yet another clarification. The history does appear - but only when viewing one's own message board or when viewing as a guest. The error only occurs when viewing as a guest. Perhaps that's the guid that is missing?
