i noticed that the groups and members tabbed listing pages do not have dynamic updates in the same way that the river dashboard does.. so i updated the relevant files to support the more fluid ajaxy style dynamic loading. i'm sure this would be best suited in the main release of elgg.. i have made a plugin for now though, which is here:

Better to build this into Elgg and make it easy than duplicating this across plugins.

I don't think this is going to happen any time reasonably soon. It isn't even worth keeping open.
