Original ticket http://trac.elgg.org/ticket/3812 on 41701330-06-12 by trac user Purus, assigned to unknown.

Elgg version: 1.8

Whenever the Profile Avatar Image is edited, a new entry is made in the river as "profile:river:iconupdate" instead of a user friendly message.

Need to confirm that river entries created by 1.7 are being displayed incorrectly for 1.8. Choices then would be to include another view for this or an upgrade script.

Prefer upgrade script.

Cannot reproduce. Tried on a clean 1.7.11 site and then upgrade. Worked out as expected. Also tried updating the avatar after the upgrade. Probably a 3rd party plugin causing the issue.
