File plugin tag cloud doesn't work

Description
Problems using tag cloud in file plugin.
When clicking one of the buttons in tag cloud it never shows any results.
Further more tag cloud becomes empty when viewing "search" results - should it not show all file types in tag cloud for easy navigation, regardless of what file type one is viewing?

I'm guess you are referring to the file type menu rather than the tag cloud. In which case, this is a duplicate of #3823.
I just tested the tag cloud and it worked fine in my tests.
