Description
Recently, I was confused about branches in github, so I published a ticket for a feature already solved. I noticed that other developers did pull request to the wrong branch.
I propose to improve documentation about what should go in each branch. We can do it in a similar way to https://github.com/gitlabhq/gitlabhq/wiki or simply put in elgg wiki http://docs.elgg.org/wiki/Development/Contributing/Patches/Git
