The ticket does not have enough information to be worth keeping around. Plus, I feel like we have a good handle on this: we want to move helper functions into classes (static in a few cases, class methods in most others) plus we we want to wait to do a lot of this until we're at PHP 5.3 and have decided how to organize our classes instead of throwing them all into a single classes directory.
