Elgg version: Github Master

You can see in [https://docs.google.com/a/elgg.org/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlAO5SiXoBNGdExuTjgySk1xeDdubm04dmZHU01WQVE&pli=1#gid=1 this spreadsheet], it's applied in all the listings pages, but not the individual view entity views for blogs/bookmarks/files.

Any reason for the inconsistency? Should this behavior be sealed and documented for 1.8? Should it change in 1.9?

Sounds like a bug to me. If I cannot see a listing of group blog posts, I should not be able to see individual blog posts.

This appears to be fixed in master on github. Files, bookmarks and blog posts all appear to remain unviewable to users outside of the group privacy scope, but public posts are visible as expected.
