Elgg version: 1.6

The standard Elgg Calender is not up to the latest standard. It has some disadvantages:

* problematic in other languages than English.
* The dates are stored in text rather than numbers so not easy to interpret
* Pop-up is not nice

We suggest to replace it with jquert ui.datepicker See:
